Since it started handcrafting luxury stationery for the National History Museum, Aspinal of London has flourished into a world-renowned luxury leather fashion designer. The brand’s expert craftsmanship has been rewarded and Aspinal is now part of London Fashion Week’s renowned summer and winter schedules.
Chairman Iain Burton started the quintessentially English brand in 2001, enlisting the expert assistance of Creative director and head designer, Mariya Dykalo, who had previously worked at some of the world’s most high profile museums, including the Louvre, the Vatican and the National History Museum.
Their collective vision and joint experience elevated Aspinal from online retailer to Selfridges in London after just five years. Aspinal is now based in West Sussex and there are 24 stores and outlets in the UK, including the new St James Flagship Store on Regent Street.
